Project Manager / Site Developer

About the Role:

DaisyChain Energy provides energy transition and decarbonization services to owners of multi-unit commercial and residential buildings, allowing clients to futureproof their buildings with next-generation energy infrastructure. DaisyChain finances up to 100% of the cost of modernizing properties with EV Charging, Solar Panels, and Heat Pump upgrades. Our project managers supervise the work from start to finish. Founded in NYC in 2024 by a veteran team with deep subject matter expertise in DERMS and grid-edge solutions, this opportunity offers the chance to join as a founding member of the team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager / Site Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years experience developing sites within an EPC, Solar or DER company. This position will oversee the entire lifecycle of our DER projects from proposal generation to commissioning. Knowledge of Utility, PSC regulations, and tariff structures is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account relationship management; primary responsibility for client communications from contract signing to project completion.

  • Manage project schedules and deadlines, deliverables,and  subcontractors.

  • Coordinate with all project stakeholders, internal and external.

  • Draft and manage contracts with contractors, subcontractors & vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Background in contracting and/or engineering.

  • Skilled at solving the technical, logistical, and interpersonal issues of general contracting 

  • Track record of successfully managing projects.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Credible certifications from recognized organizations like NABCEP, PVSC, SEIA, etc.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Passive Home design, Thermal Energy Networks, Heat Pumps, EV infrastructure
